Cinema 4D layered Great Bustard illustration
In 2018, I took the Gold course in Cinema 4D at Docklands media, based in Canary Wharf. This course, “is a combination of the Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced courses. We will take you from knowing literally nothing or just a little about the software up to a level where you can confidently create outstanding 3D renders which will leave any client in awe.”
I am now able to include 3D rendering in my skill set, whether for finished renders or to create work in progress visuals.
Lurra restaurant logo – proposal
I was approached by the owners of Lurra, a Basque restaurant in Marylebone to design a logo. They didn’t choose this one.
Turbot painting – Lurra restaurant
In addition to working on the branding for Lurra, they asked me to create a series of paintings for their menu, featuring ingredients used and sourced from the Basque region.
As well as the Turbot, which was subsequently picked for the magazine Artist & Painters’ Artists of the year 2016 exhibition, I painted a bunch of carrots, a plate of tomatoes, a bottle of red wine and a Cep mushroom.

Amended aeroplane illustration
Airplanes of the World by Douglas Rolfe is a directory of planes from the very beginnings of flight until the 1970s.
During any downtime I would improve these drawings with white paint and black pen. Currently numbering in the 200’s, I made a small number of case bound books featuring 75 of my favourites.
